The Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur has assumed a new look as a new synthetic turf has been laid on the second football venue of Dhaka. The work started at the venue in December, 2024 and has inaugurated on 14th October, 2025.The ceremony was inaugurated by BFF President Tabith Awal, with Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Youth & Sports Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan as Chief Guest and Secretary of the Ministry Md. Mahbub-Ul-Alam and Afroza Abbas, National Sports Council Executive Director (Joint Secretary) Mr. Kazi Nazrul Islam, President of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, as Special Guests. Also present were BFF Vice President Md. Wahid Uddin Chowdhury (Happy) and Executive Committee Members Md. Iqbal Hossain, Amirul Islam (Babu), Md. Monjurul Karim, Shakhawat Hossain Bhuiya (Shahin) and Emran Hossain Tushar, General Secretary.
