Our Head of Operations, Engr. Shakhawat Hossain, has been directly involved with the FIFA Goal Project since 2011—making him the only Bangladeshi with such a credentialed involvement under GreenFields Ltd.

The journey of Metaphor Sports began in 2011, when our Head of Operations, Md. Shakhawat  Hossain, first worked on the Football turf Project in Bangladesh. Our Head of Operations, Engr.  Shakhawat Hossain, has been directly involved with the FIFA Goal Project since 2011—making  him the only Bangladeshi with such a credentialed involvement. Despite it being his very first  FIFA-related project, his expertise and commitment surprised even the international officials  overseeing the work. Their appreciation and encouragement inspired him to set a vision: if FIFA standard fields were ever built in Bangladesh, they would be built with the right equipment,  proper training, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. 

That vision took shape in 2016, when he had the opportunity to work on three projects under  the AFC. His attention to detail, innovative approach, and dedication to quality earned wide  recognition, as well as the trust and respect of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). Since  then, he has built strong relationships within the football community and continues to set new  benchmarks in sports infrastructure.

Md. Shakhawat Hossain has completed his B.Sc in Civil Engineering from Stamford University who  actually works for elevating Standards — In Construction & Sport.
