An Award-Winning Green Journey from Bangladesh to Nepal

Representing the Green Entrepreneurship team, our Head of Admin presented the Turf Project by Metaphor Engineers and Sports—a climate-smart initiative that transforms waste into sustainable green spaces. It was more than a presentation; it was an opportunity to share a solution born from local challenges with global potential in presence of distinguished judges — • Dr. Baburam Bhattarai- Former Prime Minister of Nepal; • Dr. Sunil Kumar Manandhar- Former Environment Minister of Nepal; • Dr. Ainun Nishat- Water Resource and Climate Change Specialist, Professor Emeritus, BRAC University, Bangladesh • AKM Sohel – Additional Secretary and Wing Chief (UN Wing) at Economic Relations Divisions, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh, • Dr. Moniruzzaman – Vice Chancellor, Stamford University Bangladesh • Esteemed faculty members from both Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University added to the weight of the moment. Their collective presence was a powerful reminder of what happens when science, policy, and youth leadership align to demand climate justice. The evening became unforgettable when the team received the Best Group Presentation Award. Moments later, she deeply honored to hear her own name announced as the Best Presenter of the International Climate Camp 2025. Receiving the award from Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was a truly humbling and unforgettable experience.

It was an honor for Metaphor Engineers to join the insightful meeting as the official Bangladesh Representative of Greenfields Europe at their Asian Regional Office, Singapore. We are proud to mark a significant milestone achieving FIFA Certification for our Bangladesh project.The training provided an invaluable opportunity to deepen our expertise in sports turf management.Looking ahead, we are committed to a greater purpose: developing climate-resilient, low carbon footprint grass solutions field that align with the future of sustainable sports infrastructure.Our visit to the Singapore Football Association and further reinforced our dedication to elevating football standards across the region.We thank TenCate, the mother company of GreenFields and its Asian Office for this enriching platform and look forward to bringing world-class, sustainable turf solutions to Bangladesh and beyond.
